Stratoni is a large coastal village in northern Halkidiki which is 66 km away from Polygyros. The village has no particular interest to tourists, although the central area has beautiful beaches.
Stratoni is known for its mines, as the mountains of the area are rich in natural deposits.
The sailing club and the boats of the local fishermen use the small harbor to dock. In Stratoni, funerary monuments of Roman times were founded.
