The Voluntary Women Organisation for the Development of the Community established the folklore museum of Poligiros which organises every year a lot of events with main subject the folklore history.
All of the exhibits of the folklore museum have been donated by locals inhabitants of Poligiros and may include a variety of materials such as old traditional furnitures, items of everyday use and tools that were used for agricultural work.
The museum is located in the centre of the town of Poligiros in renovated residence of the major of Poligiros.
